First Day of Classes
Our first day of classes is Monday August 31, 2026 and the school office is open to parents on Aug. 27, 2026.
- Kindergarten Staggered Entry (August 31 and September 1st only)
- Grade 1-6 Classes follow regualar school hours starting August 31, 2026
- Soft Entry Starting on September 2nd onward for Grades 1-6
Staggered entry days are full days for all Grades 1-6 students. Kindergarten will follow the staggered entry plan schedule below on August 31 and September 1. On Wednesday, September 2, 2026 regular attendance will resume for all K-6 students with a soft entry starting at for grade 1-6 students at 8:55am where students go directly to their classrooms, ready for instruction to start promptly at 9:04am.
Soft entry is when students enter the building starting at 8:55 AM and go right to their classroom (9 minutes). This allows us to limit and regulate the number of children coming in at a time and supports a calm start for learning. No outdoor supervision occurs during this time, as students are expected to enter the building immediately upon arriving at school during this soft entry time.

Ring the buzzer at the front door if you need to drop off medication or have an emergency. A member of support staff or office staff will help with your requests. Do not park in our parking lot or in the bus zone. The ‘Hug and Go’ zone is available for quick drop off only, please do not park or leave your car unattended.
Class Lists
Class lists are developed at the end of June. Please be aware that class lists may be adjusted once we have confirmed numbers of students attending.

School Supplies
School supplies are distributed by teachers. Other supplies needed from home will be:
- Back pack that will hold a lunch, snacks, water bottle and books.
- Good runners / sneakers for indoor shoes that will not mark the floor.
