QUEST KINDER CARE: for children in Kindergarten

Quest Kinder Care is an on-site private program operating in a classroom within Marion Carson School. This program runs in conjunction with your child’s regular Kindergarten class, enabling your child to stay at school for the duration of the regular school day. The “Part-Time“ option offers care Monday - Friday during regular school hours. The “Full Time” option offers care Monday - Friday during regular school hours, with additional care before and after regular school hours. A typical day in Kinder Care provides opportunity for centre time, circle time, a daily art/craft opportunity, music and movement. The program is further enhanced with field trips and in-class presentations. Offers 2 different program types for Kindergarten students:

"Part Time" KINDER CARE

This program will provide care for students during "regular school hours" when they are not attending Kindergarten.

Part Time KINDER CARE Monday and Wednesday and Select Fridays

For children in Group B Kindergarten

Part Time KINDER CARE Tuesday and Thursday and Select Fridays

For children in Group A Kindergarten

Part Time KINDER CARE Monday - Thursday Afternoons and Select Fridays (when not in school)

For children in Community Kindergarten

"Full Time" KINDER CARE

This program will provide care for students during regular school hours, as well as before and after school hours.  Essentially, this means the child will have care from 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Full Time KINDER CARE

For children in any of the Kindergarten groups

Full day of care around the hours of your child’s Kindergarten class

7:00am – 6:00pm                   

*The Full Time KINDER CARE Program includes care on PD Days from 7:30am - 5:30pm.  The Part Time KINDER CARE program does not include care on PD Days.

In order to best serve the needs of the community and Marion Carson School, we will not be offering Pre-K so that we can provide KINDER CARE to more children.  Please contact us about other Pre-K options.
