Marion Carson School Council and Parent Association Meeting
A reminder that there is no school on Friday, April 18 due to Good Friday, as well as no school for students on Monday April 21 as it is a non-instructional day. School resumes Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
I am sending you this message on behalf of Mr. Turner this week as he is on his way to Boston to run in the Boston Marathon. He will be running the event on Monday, April 21st. Some families have asked if there’s a way to track his progress during the race. There is live tracking at www.baa.org on the day of the race using his race bib #9177. Wishing him a successful race day.

Event Details:
9:30am: Participants pick-up race bibs at the registration/sign up table (courtyard)
10:00am: The pre-program/warm-up starts.
10:30am: The fun run/walk begins.
1:30pm: Post-race activities/food trucks close
*Registration is open until April 25th! The event will happen rain or shine. Please no dogs at the Run.
Marion Carson School Council and Parent Association Meeting
Thank you to those families who came to the School Council and Parent Association meeting this week. Our next School Council and Parent Association Meeting is this Tuesday, May 27 at 6:30pm in the Library Learning Commons. This is our Annual General Meeting (AGM) where we will vote on electing our Executive members and fill our volunteer committee lead roles. We encourage parents to attend if possible and if interested in volunteering in any capacity. You can view recent meeting minutes and agendas of recent meeting here on our school website.
Virtual Parent Education Night
