A few items of note…

Lunar New Year Residency Performance

Thank you to all families who came to support our Marion Carson students in the Lunar New Year Celebrations this past Friday. We would like to also share our gratitude for the volunteers who came to the school throughout the week to help make this residency possible. Of course, we would also like to congratulate students on an amazing performance filled with various opportunities for whole school learning around new beginnings and spirit in the Chinese culture as well as some learnings around how some other cultures around the world also celebrate and recognize the new year and new beginnings.

2025-2026 School Planning and Engagement

At School Council and Parent Association meetings, administration often speak to various whole school organization, planning and processes. At past meetings this year, we’ve discussed items such as class sizes and organization, school fees, the School Development Plan, and the School Improvement Results Report.

At the upcoming School Council and Parent Association Meeting on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 6:30pm, school administration will be leading a School Planning and Engagement presentation to gather feedback, and support whole school planning for the 2025-26 school year. Following the meeting, the survey link will go live and can be found within the presentation posted to our website here. The survey will be open from February 18 to March 8, 2025. We encourage families to attend this Tuesday’s meeting for the in-person presentation, or to review the presentation online and complete the survey. This is a key survey to support 2025-2026 school year planning, and we appreciate your feedback and support.
