A reminder that June 27, 2024 is the last day of school for the 2023-24 school year and that although it is a Thursday, it is an early dismissal day ending at 1:20pm. There is no PM Community English kindergarten on this day. PM Community English Kindergarten and Monday/Wednesday Mandarin Bilingual Program Kindergarten have their last day of school on June 26th.
Staffing Updates
As we move into the final week of school we would like to share some well wishes to some of our staff members who were currently on temporary positions for this school year, are moving on to a new school, or retiring from their role in the Calgary Board of Education. We would like to thank all staff for their hard work and dedication to the students of Marion Carson School and wish you well in your next adventure.

Sports Day
Thank you very much to our sports day committee and all of our grade 5 student leaders who supported a great sports day event today at the school. We had a beautiful day filled with various engaging activities led by our students.

Report Cards – Live for Viewing
A reminder that the June 2024 report cards go live for viewing on June 26, 2024. Parent can access the report cards online through their MyCBE account.
Book Exchange
As per previous messaging, all books should now be returned to our school library for the 2023-24 school year. Final reports stating overdue books (ie. books not returned) have been sent home to families. If you have not returned a book on the report listed as overdue/not returned, then the cost of book replacement will be charged to the MyCBE account connected to your child. If you believe that this book has been returned or you were sent this overdue message in error, please email our school librarian Ms. Parshina at olparshina@cbe.ab.ca before the end of the day, June 24, 2024.
School Fees Due
A final reminder to parents to pay all school fees before the end of the school year. Please visit your MyCBE Account to review your fees for you child/children and ensure that you have no outstanding school fees at this point of the year. If you require assistance in finding this fees section online in your child’s account, please feel free to contact the school office at 403 777-6050.
