Veteran’s Food Bank of Alberta Food Drive
Thank you to all families for your donations to the Veteran’s Food Bank of Alberta. We collected many items (over 4 boxes) which will make a great difference for those in need. Way to go Marion Carson School community. Thank you to our Grade 5/6 student leaders for organizing this event and our Remembrance Day Assembly.
Staffing Updates
We would like to welcome the following new staff members to Marion Carson School.
Ms. Baldwin – welcome to Ms. Baldwin who started with us this past week in Grade 5 as part of the reorganization of our combined grade 5/6 classes into 4 classes comprised of two grade 5 homeroom classes and two grade 6 homeroom classes.
Ms. Keller – best wishes to Grade ½ teacher Ms. Keller who will be going on maternity leave as of Fall Break. We are excited for her to welcome her new bundle of joy to the world in the near future.
Ms. Holm – welcome to Ms. Holm who will be transitioning into the Grade ½ classroom teaching role for the remainder of the school year.
