- Grade 4 Learning Celebration
- A Message on Behalf of School Council and Parent Association
Our Grade 4 students led a fantastic learning celebration earlier today focussing on Spirit – To Be with a connection to our school-wide theme “We Belong”. Thank you to all students and staff for your leadership in sharing your learning with the school community. You gave great examples of ways to spread the spirit of belonging, through your storytelling and performance. You were amazing!
Thank you to all families who have supported our messaging about reducing congestion along Varsity Drive during drop off and pick-up times as well as near our main entry and exit points. A reminder that we ask school families to use the sidewalks and crosswalks, and avoid the parking lot when walking up to the school with children. If using the hug and go, we also ask that cars avoid parking in this area and instead use it as a space where you can give your child a quick hug and a kiss before sending them towards the doors. This way you can then open up a space for other families to do the same with hopes of maintaining the flow of traffic. If you prefer to walk your child to the doors, we ask that you park in a space that is not designated as a quick loading/unloading space. Some great options include the opposite side of Varsity Drive from the school, or a nearby side street. We thank you for your support in choosing safety over convenience and in supporting a smooth drop off and pick up for all families.
*A reminder that there is no school on Monday, October 14 due to Thanksgiving Day. School resumes Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
