Take Me Outside Day
Get ready for an incredible week of outdoor learning and adventure! From October 21-25, our school will be taking part in Take Me Outside Week—a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with nature, explore new skills, and make learning unforgettable!
Each day, students will experience hands-on activities that bring our subjects to life in the great outdoors. From science experiments to creative art projects, we'll be celebrating learning outside the classroom walls!
Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather, and let's make this an inspiring week together. We can't wait to see what amazing memories they’ll bring home!

Dressing for the Weather
With the weather beginning to be less predictable, now is a good time to remind families to send their children to school with clothing appropriate for the day’s weather, with the recommendation of wearing layers. Students go outside up until -20 degrees including the wind chill for both a morning movement and nutrition break and a lunch recess. In addition, many classes have been focusing on daily outdoor learning activities with focused instruction outdoors in nature in addition to these regularly scheduled break times and beyond “Take Me Outside” week. Having appropriate clothing for the weather will make all of these experiences most enjoyable and engaging for our students.

Davison Orchards Apple Fundraiser
For those who purchased apples through the Davison Orchards Apple Fundraiser, a reminder to pick-up your apples on October 22, 2024 in the school parking lot from 3:30-6pm.
Hallowe’en Dance – October 24, 2024 (5:30pm – 7:30pm)
Last chance to get your tickets for our Hallowe’en Dance is October 24 at 12pm noon through the online ticketing system! Cash only concessions will be available for purchase while at the dance.
Volunteer Signup for Halloween Dance! Events like this are made possible by volunteers! Thank you to all people who have filled the volunteer positions for this event. We appreciate your support.
