Alien Inline Residency for K – 4 students and Family Skate Night
Our K-4 Alien Inline Residency started this past Thursday for many classrooms. On April 25, all families (K-6) are welcome to come to the Family Skate Night hosted by Alien Inline and our Parent Association right here at Marion Carson School. The event will run from 5:30pm – 8:30pm in the school gymnasium. More details to come in the future, including a sign-up sheet for a specific time slot for your family.
Healthy Sexual Development | Family & Caregiver Well-Being Session
As part of a continued effort to support the well-being of students, CBE is committed to sharing valuable information about child and youth well-being with families and caregivers. This is the last (of five) sessions available for families and caregivers, this time focusing on 'healthy sexual development'. The session will occur Thursday, April 11 from 6:30pm – 8pm.

Fun Lunch on June 10 (Subway) – New Provider Trial
We are adding a June 10 Fun Lunch, where we are trying a NEW Fun Lunch provider called Lunchbox. Their program will help Parent Association eliminate the need for most volunteers, and save us hours of work!
You'll need to set up an account with them to get started. Here is how you setup this account to order the June 10 fun lunch. *Please note, that no other school fees are collected through this program, just the Fun Lunch fee for June 10. The ordering deadline for the first scheduled lunch delivery is: Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 12:00 PM
- How to Order
- Log into your Lunchbox account.
- If you need to create an account, please go to www.lunchboxorders.net
- Select ‘Create an Account’.
- Add your contact information along with a password.
- An email notification will be sent to you to confirm your email and login information.
- Log back into Lunchbox to add your child to the program. (Your email is your username).
- Confirm your child’s account information including their teacher and grade for the current school year.
- Click ‘Add’ to save the information.
- *Please ensure the correct teacher and grade are selected to prevent errors on delivery days.
- Press the ‘Order Now’ button beside your student’s name.
- Place your child’s lunch order(s) on your school’s ordering calendar by clicking the blue date for the scheduled vendors.
Parent Association Grade 4MB and Grade 6CE Farewell Fundraiser
Please save your bottles for the Bottle Drive occurring in our Marion Carson School Parking lot. Drop off your bottle on Saturday, April 27 between 10:00am - 2:00pm.
This event is hosted by the Marion Carson Parent Association
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: This event is being organized by the grade 4 Mandarin Bilingual and grade 6 Community English classroom parents. If you are a parent of a student in one of these classes, please help out by signing up for a volunteer time slot on April 27.
The bottle drive will be used to raise funds that will go toward school events that are provided for by parent council, and to the future play area. We have a goal of raising $1000 so please bring us your bottles!
