A few items of note…

Winter Festival – December 16 - 20, 2024

We are looking forward to our Winter Festival Week featuring various community events, whole school activities and citizenship initiatives. Last week’s Principal’s message described these events in greater detail. Please use the links below to reference each day’s spirit day theme, fundraising/citizenship call for donations, and whole school activities, many of which parents are invited to join. Please mark your calendars and join in on the fun! All donations can be sent with students and dropped off in the main hallway by the office.

*Should you be a family who could use support from one of these initiatives, please contact the school office at 403 777-6050 before 4pm on Wednesday, December 18, as we would love to be able to prioritize supporting families connected to our school community.

All events are also posted on our school website on the home page and under the calendar

Lost & Found

Our lost and found is setup for students and families on tables in the main hallway by the office. Classroom teachers will be taking their students to have a final look at the tables throughout the week. Please see attached pictures of the lost and found to see if any of your children’s items have been recovered. Please note that all lost and found items remaining as of the end of the school day, Friday December 20, 2024 will be donated.

Lifetouch Photography Update

Class Photo Update:

Students had their class photos taken on the same day that they had their individual photos taken. Unfortunately, the class photos arrived at school from Lifetouch with multiple imperfections connected to each classroom, and administration made the decision not to send them home at that time to investigate other options. We have been working with Lifetouch, who has now agreed to retake all homeroom class photos for our school. We are working on finalizing this date. We thank you for your patience in receiving these photos and thank Lifetouch for standing behind the quality of their product through this resolution. We will message families once a class photo date is confirmed.

2024-25 School Yearbook:

  • Students and teachers will be working again this year to create a yearbook for those interested in purchasing one for their child.
  • Yearbook cost is $20
  • Please visit www.ybpay.ca to order and use yearbook code #15269225.
  • Order deadline is April 25, 2025 (to ensure a timely delivery of the yearbooks, no orders placed past this deadline will be accepted)
