Spirit Day (Dress as Your Favourite Pizza / Pizza Topping) – January 30, 2025

To support our day of pizza on January 30, 2025 with our Papa Johon’s Fun Lunch and Matador’s Pizza day long fundraiser, we are inviting all students to come to school dressed up as their favourite pizza topping(s) or wear their Marion Carson spirit wear.

Lunar New Year Residency and After School Celebration – Call for Volunteers

Whole School Lunar New Year Multi-Cultural Residency and Performance.

-        Lunar New Year Residency is from Feb. 3 to 7, 2025.

-        Lunar New Year Performance is Feb 7, 2025 (see schedule here)

We are looking for many volunteers to help with various roles throughout the week such as setup, takedown, prop creation, set design and more. If you can help, we would appreciate your time. Please see the link for role descriptions and to sign up at Marion Carson Sign Up Genius.

Bottle Drive

Thank you to the Bottle Drive volunteers this past weekend and for those who donated their bottles. It was a frigid day but everyone showed up to help raise over $500 for our General Fund! Thank you families for your support!

Marion Carson at Matador Pizza Night - January 30, 2025

Matador’s Pizza fundraiser in this Thursday, January 30, 2025. $5 from every pizza will come back to the school! This is for dine in and take out. Tell your neighbors, friends, and colleagues to have some Matador’s pizza on January 30^th, 2025.

Marion Carson Silent Auction Fundraiser – February 7-10, 2025 (ends at 11:59pm)

Stay tuned for the link in next week’s message for an opportunity to browse the items up for auction, and to bid when the silent auction opens in support of Marion Carson School.
