Dear Parents / Guardians,
In this message…
- Parent-Student-Teacher School Conferences
- A Message from School Council / Parent Association
As the weather continues to get colder, a reminder to send your children to school with appropriate clothing for outdoor weather, such as winter boots with good grip, jackets, snow pants, hats and mitts. Students go outside multiple times throughout the day, and we want to ensure they can focus on their learning and play in a comfortable way.
Parent-Student-Teacher School Conferences
Thank you to all families who attended conferences throughout yesterday evening and today. These connections between school, family and student are key to student success and we appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule for your children. The sounds of joy and pride heard throughout the building on these days when students share their learning and learning spaces is a wonderful moment in their schooling to celebrate. If you did not meet with your child’s teacher, please be sure to contact them directly to set up a time to connect about your child’s learning.
A Message from School Council / Parent Association
Thank you to all parents who have signed up to help with our various initiatives and events. Below is some information about upcoming events that may be of interest to you.

Reminder about our parent education session with guest speaker, Dr. Keoma Thorne. She is a local psychologist with expertise in the area of anxiety in school-age children and youth. If you are not able to get childcare, we will have a movie playing in the gym where your children can stay while you join the presentation. It is free of charge to families as the cost is generously being covered by the parent council using the funds you have helped raise.
