A reminder that November 9-14 is our Fall Break – No School for Students (classes resume November 15)      

Winter Outdoor Clothing Donations

Thank you to all families who have dropped off donations of new and/or lightly used winter clothing. Should your family be in need any donated outdoor clothing items, please contact the school office and ask to be connected with our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Ly.

 

Remembrance Day

Thank you to the Grade 5 students and teachers for leading our Remembrance Day Assembly today. You demonstrated wonderful leadership in the assembly, but also in organizing the Food Bank donations and Poppy Fund collection. Thank you to all families and students for your donations. I hope all families are able to take some time on Nov. 11 to honour, remember and be thankful whether in Calgary or wherever the break may take you.

 

Lifetouch Photo Retakes

Lifetouch has Fall photo retakes available for online booking in the Calgary studio. Any families who would like the opportunity to retake an image and weren't able to do so at Marion Carson School are invited to book an appointment at their Calgary studio by clicking on this link https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/1dqj327c/. Appointments are currently available November 18^th 9am - 12 noon

 

School Council and Parent Association Meeting – November 17, 2023 (morning meeting)

Our next School Council / Parent Association meeting of the year is on November 17 2023 at 9:30am. Please make note of the time, as the Council is working to try a couple of morning meetings this year to make it possible for some families who can’t make the evening times, attend in the morning. It will be occurring in person at Marion Carson School (doors open at 9:20am).
